I haven’t been keeping a close eye on my hitmap. I have to admit that I really only registered it so that I could visualise the places I visited on my world-jaunt in March 06. Nor have I ever spent much time checking out the excellent website analysis that my installation of AWStats provides. This will change, as I’ve noticed that the site is getting a lot more international traffic (welcome, all!) and that some interesting searches are finding their way here.
For example, I hope the person who arrived here by searching for “delta lounge frankfurt airport” got something useful from their visit. Also, since searching for “asterisk athlon centos” scored me a visitor, I must not be the only person on the ‘Net who runs that particular combination — I might post some more info about my experiences (the search for “trixbox isdn” goes in the same category).
Good luck to the person who was searching for “why asterisk renamed trixbox”, it was Asterisk@Home that changed it’s name to Trixbox (though I’m sure you know that) but it’s a mystery to me too. 🙂
I’ve only been running AWStats since May, but I don’t think the site has been getting returned in searches for any longer than that (or maybe I’m only recently blogging more interesting things). I’m waiting for the day when I search for something on the ‘Net and get a link to my own site — hmmm, self-referencing search… could be the next indicator of Internet fame! 😀
