So I managed to get myself back in hospital again. Almost the same situation as the first time: bad gastro, leading to dehydration, leading to chest pain. All is okay though; I’m in no danger, and the main symptoms were more related to heartburn than anything else!
This time, all the cardiac tests were showing negative until just before I was due to go home — a test showed evidence of at least a small degree of heart muscle damage. So my quick trip just to make sure things were okay has turned into a week in the big house 🙂
Right now I’m waiting for my angiogram slot to roll around (the angiogram is a radiographic test that looks for blockages in the coronary arteries). After that, I’m looking forward to finally being able to get home and have some birthday cake!
